Now, I'm at the very end of posting. God gracious, I've passed my end of posting yesterday, and as always I underestimate myself that I'm expecting myself to failed the assessment and at least I need 2 times to actually pass but who knows my supervisor are well satisfied with my answer. I'm grateful to Allah for this and thankful to my supervisor too. Now, I'm ready to start the unknown posting at the early of May and tagging during Ramadhan as today is the 1st of Ramadhah. Happy fasting! :)
God bless all of my posting mate. I pray we will do okay throughout the tagging period and Ramadhan.
Anyways, I will just summarize everything that I remember throughout this posting because yo girl is so lazy to update every time. If you ask me what is the most significant thing that I remember in this posting, I would say it is, blood taking. Indeed. Yes, blood taking is the hardest in paediatrics. I remember the first day I was posted to block B, where all the child other than neonates are admitted. Blood taking is difficult here, because the child, oh my god! It is a laborious procedure. The child fights back, some of them will try to bite and even spit on you. Here, you will need at least 2 person to take blood. Some of this child are cute and were very nice during blood taking so you will be the most grateful person, but then they're some that are hard to be managed. We had more than 4 people sometimes because these child, though they are child, they had this monstrous energy. I really could't fight them back. And then in Block A, where the neonates are. These baby of course they can't really fight back, though some would actually kick you. Imagine baby kicking your hand when you are waiting their blood, drops by drops to fill the tube and then dislodged the needles, after a hard time (sometimes) to find the best vein. I almost changed to monster sometimes but babies... you can't be ad at them. Boleh bebel, bebel jelah. Haha. I learnt that blood taking from premature babies is easier than term babies, because they have thin skin as compared to those plump term babies. Wow I wrote a long paragraph on blood taking only, I haven't talk about how many times we need to repeat those blood because the potassium was high because babies their blood is easier to hemolyse and then drop method if you happen to squeeze a bit, a very bit during blood taking, welcome to the repeated renal profile and vbg. Duh... I was writing this and was blushing out of nowhere because suddenly I think this is the sweet moments but when the actual moment occured, I was utterly annoyed.
Hmm.. what else I remember during pediatrics? Bad bloods. Siti call them bad bloods. Bullies. They're bullies. You can't deny it. Those who are mean to every person, they exist in every posting, but I don't know. I really lazy to get involved with these people but they seem to 'like' me very much. Trying to find faults in everything I do, when sometimes they're other people dancing with mistakes and no one bats an eye one them. Ah malaslah nak cerita lagi. Ruining my mood. I don't like them and very happy to leave them, though I know next and next posting we will see this kind of people over and over. But I choose to say goodbye. Goodbye, I don't want to see you guys again, no sorry and thank you either.
I will miss the air conditioned Block A though. I work better in cold temperature. I know how terrible I act when I felt hot haha after this it will be hot hot and hot ward posting. Maybe labour room is not.
Talking about labour room, I was hoping my next posting to be O&G. Because no one wants to be in O&G at the end of their housemanship haha. I dare not say anything. But if it is medicine pun boleh lah. Basically, where I end up will be more and more tiring than paediatrics and orthopaedics. Hahaha
When I told everyone I have finished my paediatrics and orthopedics first, semua pun act like you are so unlucky because you finished all the chill posting haha. I don't know what to say. Whatever it is as usual, I'm just okay, next. Hahaha. We will wait for my third posting annoncement and I'll update ( kalau rajin). Bye!
